Adam Dewar

I'm a photographer based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, specializing in spirits, cocktail, and craft beverage photography. I work with distilleries, breweries, and food and beverage brands to create imagery that tells the story behind what's in the bottle, and keeps it showing up consistently on their feeds.

My career started in animation, which gave me a solid foundation in visual storytelling before I moved into photography and videography. Over the past decade I've worked with craft brands across Canada, developing a style that sits somewhere between editorial warmth and product precision: unhurried, intentional, and built to last beyond a single campaign.

Living in Scotland for a stretch sharpened both my eye and my appreciation for craft spirits. That time stuck with me. You'll still see it in how I think about light, atmosphere, and the quiet details that make a drink feel worth reaching for.

When I'm not shooting, I'm out in the forest or on the water somewhere on the island. BC has a way of resetting your eye, and I think it shows up in the work.
